Technical Committee Sues For Peace.

The Technical and Development Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation rose from an intensive meeting on Tuesday, 9th April, 2013, with a decision that efforts would not be spared in ensuring that peace reigns in the house of Nigeria football.

The Committee deliberated on the war of words now making the rounds between the Coaches and players of the Senior National Team, Super Eagles, and assured that peace would reign supreme before the country embarks on the series of matches that would eventually guarantee our 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification, as well as the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.

The Committee earnestly pleads with the media to help in this task by getting this unsavoury issue off their pages and airwaves, even as the NFF has appealed to all the parties to sheath their swords henceforth.

Based on the parlous financial situation that the Nigeria Football Federation currently finds itself, the Committee has also recommended the staff auditing of the technical crew and backroom staff of all the National Teams.

The Committee regretted the financial situation that has also necessitated the pegging of bonuses, review of allowances and salaries of Coaches of the National Teams.

The Technical and Development Committee also considered the employment
of Coaches for positions of Technical Director of the NFF and the coaching staff of the Under 23 National Team, also known as Dream Team.
