Nigerian's Deaf Eagles will depart the country for the Deaflympic holding in Sofia, Bulgaria from Wednesday 24th of this month through fourth of August, 2013.
Nigeria is paired alongside Ireland, Japan and Russia in Group C.
Deaf Eagles will leave Abuja this morning to arrive Lagos later in the day after which the team will depart Nigeria in the evening, 10.00pm for Sofia, Bulgaria.

Oladimeji Banjo, confirmed that the team which comprises of eighteen
football players, three coaches, one medical doctor and two
physiotherapy would play its first group C match on Thursday against
Ireland.
Banjo who commended the National Sports Commission NSC, for paving the way for the team to feature in the Deaflympic for the first time having defeated Algeria one-nil to feature in the championship. said the Deaf Eagles were in the good frame of mind to make the country proud as they are not afraid Ireland, Japan and Russia.
While meeting with the team in Abuja, the Director General of National Sports Commission, Gbenga Elegbeleye, charged the Deaf Eagles not to relent in their efforts to redeem the image of Nigeria at the Deaflympic having been camped in Abuja for a month in readiness for the competition.
Meanwhile, the President of Nigerian Deaf Sports Federation, Usman Nauche as well as the Secretary, Lukman Agbabiaka are expected to be in Bulgaria today in a new to attend the Deaflympic congress.
Nigeria will be represented at this year's edition of Deaflympic in Football, Table Tennis and Athletics.
