who is seeded number two at the TJ’s championship.
Other seeded players include, semifinalist at the classics, Kazeem Makanjuola, as well as Portugal-based Jide Ogidiolu.

Aside Ogundele, other top rated players in the women’s event were Ganiat Olatunde, Tolu Durosimi-Etti, Olaide Atinuke, Funmi Ajala, Bose Odusanya, Sidi Yahya and policewoman, Fatimo Kazeem.
The one-week competition has been sanctioned by the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF) and it is financed by TJ’s Hotel and Suites in Sango Ota, Ogun State with players competing for the N1million prize
money.
More than 13 states will be competing in the U-13 (cadet) category, while clubs are also participating in the tournament.
According to the competition manager, Kabir Ajibose, the dwindling fortune of the game prompted the staging of the championship, which is aim to complement the efforts of the Wahid Oshodi-led Nigeria Table
