Fibaafrica Clears Nigerian Players As Competition Dunks Off.

After due clearance from Fibaafrica, the Nigeria Basketball Federation, NBBF in consultation with the technical crew of the national women's basketball team has announced a squad of twelve players, four coaches and two medical personnel for the 2013 Afrobasket for women which dunked of today in Maputo, Mozambique.
According to the list, Helen Ogunjimi is captain of the team with players like Chuioma Udeaja, Magdaline Ukato, Sarah Ogoke, Ndidi Madu, Tolu Omotola, Justina Udenze, Grace Okonkwo, Joyce Ekworomadu, Rashidat Sadiq, Nkechi Akashili and Upe Atosu.
At the head of the coaching crew is Scott Nnaji with Lateef Erifolami, Adewunmi Aderemi and Emmanuel Odah as assistants while Nkechi Enendu is Team Doctor and Amaka Enebe as the physiotherapist.
Meanwhile two matches have already been decided with favourites, Senegal shooting down Egypt 100-69 and Mali overpowering Cape Verde 73-62.
Other matches scheduled for today are Cameroon v Kenya, host Mozambique v Zimbabwe and Cote d'Ivoire v Algeria, Nigeria V Angola.
