14 Nigerian Football Clubs To Feature In Honourable Abdulazeez Mohammed Pre- Season Tourney.

Fourteen Nigerian top Premier Leagues football clubs will feature in this year's edition of the Kaduna Pre- season tournament will kick off on Monday, 13th of January and end on the 18th of January 2014.

The teams are,Kano Pillars,Bayelsa United,Enyimba of Aba, Elkanemi,  Nasarawa United, Kaduna United,Wikki Tourist, Spotlite, Jigawa United,Sokoto United,Ranchers Bees,DSS F.C, Kara United and Kaduna Bees.

Two teams,TEAP F.C of Abuja and Niger Tornadoes are yet to comfirm their participation.

According to the sponsor of the tournament,Hon Abdulazeez Mohammed, the pre - season tournament was organized to prepare the teams playing in the league as well as the teams representing Nigeria in the CAF organised competitions ,considering the fact that the premier league will not start before the first round of the caf champions league and the confederation cup starts.

He added that the Nigeria Premier League champions, Kano Pillars, lost in the semi finals of the last year’s pre- season to Wikki Tourist but went ahead to win the Nigeria Premier League as the pre season had exposed a lot to the technical crew and management which they corrected.

Kaduna United won last years pre season,beating Wikki Tourist in the finals.
