Iran and Bosnia- Herzegovina Are Not Underdogs, Nwosu Warns Keshi

Former Green Eagles captain, Henry Nwosu, has warned the chief coach of Nigeria's Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi, not to regard  Iran and Bosnia- Herzegovina as the group's underdogs in the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup in June.

Nwosu, said it would be a tactical deficiency if Keshi concentrates much on the group match against Argentina with the hope that Iran and Bosnia Herzegovina would not pose any threat, stressing that records have shown that such teams could be difficult to defeat as they do not have anything to loss.

While noting that the Super Eagles in recent international matches have proved to be a force to reckon with especially while playing against Argentina, Nwosu, said the South American side always fight hard to either win, defeat or play a barren draw against the Eagles because the African champions is blessed with bunch of credible players who are regulars at their respective clubs.

He explained that the inability of Victor Moses and Mikel Obi to command regular playing time at their clubs, should not be a parametre to place themon the bench when the FIFA world cup kick- off, adding that both players are still good enough to make the team's final list inspite of the challenges that thay are confronted with at their clubs.

On Ikechukwu Uche, the coach of Gateway United, said the final decision rest on Keshi because it would be wrong to force a player on him, adding that the team needs crop of football players who are commited and focused to surpass the team's records.
