Honouring
the late ace sports broadcaster an veteran journalist, Sir
WalterOyatogun, Lagos Television/Radio Lagos Football team and
their MITV/Star FM clashed in a novelty football match decided inside
main bowl of the national stadium, Surulere.
The match was part of events lined up to celebrate the life of the reverend and iconic broadcaster who died at the age of 75.
MITV/Star FM deservedly won the football match as they defeated LTV fooball team by 1-0.
The novelty match attrated dignitaries from the state sports fraternity, family and friends of late Oyatoun.
The
lagos state sports commissioner for youth, sports and social
development, Barrister wahid Enitan oshodi who was a specia gues of
honour at the novelty footbal
match paid glowin tribute to the late bradcaster.
He
said Oyatogun was part of the Lagos sports family and he was celebrated
while alive by the Lagos state government thanks to governor Babatunde
