GO AND CONQUER AFRICA ELEGBELEYE URGES FALCONS

Director General of National Sports Commission (NSC) Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye has urged the Super Falcons to ensure that they beat Rwanda and go ahead to win the Africa Women Championship.

The DG made this charge when he paid a visit to the national Under-15 boys at their training in Abuja and decided to also see the senior national women team who were also training at the FIFA Goal Project.

" I understand you girls have an African qualifying game with Rwanda next month, I trust you to beat them and go ahead to win the African championship.  

"As the best team in Africa, I expect you to go to Namibia and beat all others and win the trophy. Not even Equatorial Guinea should be problem to you, so go there and conquer" he said.

Meanwhile, the DG has promised to come and watch the Super Falcons play the national under-15 boys today by 3 pm
