Supreme Court Squad Out To Break Away Victory Jinx

After posting an impressive performance which gifted the team with a three maximum points last weekend against Mighty Jets of Jos, Supreme Court FC of Abuja will tomorrow face another stiff test when they confront Spotlight FC of Katsina on Saturday.

The division A side of the Nigeria National League (NNL) left Abuja on Friday en route to Katsina where they hope to break away victory jinx in one of week 9 matches of the country’s second tier league.

Ahead of the encounter, Supreme Court FC Head Coach Henry Haggai has expressed optimism that his boys have all it takes to grab maximum points to enable the team step up on the league standing.

At the moment, the Abuja-based side have 12 points, three points behind leaders Wikki Tourist of Bauchi.

Coach Haggai hinted “it’s not been easy trying to secure points away from home due to some challenges. I have always told my players not to express any form of fear while playing away from home. If you watch the team play, you will observe that we have players with potentials.

“In any case, is not over. In football, anything is possible and we will continue to fight on till we get what we are set out for.

Also speaking, striker Peter Michael who have two goals to his credit so far in the current season vowed to get more goals for the team.
