Isaac Success Joins Up With Flying Eagles

Granada CF striker Isaac Success is expected to strengthen the Flying Eagles strike force when he joins up next week.

Team secretary, Auwal AIbrahim, said the team's Head Coach, Garba Manu, had requested for the prolific striker to join the rest of the squad in Kaduna as soon as he arrives Nigeria on holidays.

He said the football players did not respond to the team's earleir contact for the African Youth Championship first leg qualifier in Tanzania because the club needs his service to escape relegation from La Liga, adding that a formal contact will again be made to Success’ Spanish La Liga club in this respect.

Granada are still in danger of relegation as they are just two points clear off the relegation zone as a defeat to Real Valladolid in an away final game on Sunday could spell a doom to Success club.

FC Porto forward Chidera Eze, who has recovered from a hamstring injury, as well as Bernard Bulbwa, Abubakar Lawal and Ifeanyi Nweke are expected to join the 18-man squad from the first leg in Tanzania.

The return leg match is fixed for Saturday, 24th of May, 2014 at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.
