Metro Pro League:AS Racine Subdue 36 Lions F.C

Lagos FA Cup champions, AS Racine Football Club has continue to prove its mettle in the Metro Pro League as the team defeated 36 Lions Football Club by a lone goal in the week 15 tie played yesterday at the Onikan Stadium.


The Emmanuel Ibru boys that loss to Nath Boys by five goals to one in last week encounter grabbed the much needed winner courtesy a Fatai Bakare's goal in the 6th minute of the encounter.

AS Racine stands a chance to change their fortune on the Metro Pro League log as they still have a couple of outstanding games at hand.

The other game of the day between Yobo FC and Bolowotan at Agege Stadium was postponed on the request of the Oga Boys due to obvious reasons in Ikorodu.

Meanwhile, in today's tie Apapa Golden Stars  will welcome Bridge FC to the Legacy Pitch, Surulere, just as Remo Stars will ambush Nath Boys Football Club at the Agege Stadium.

On Saturday, AS Racine will trade tackles with Yobo FC in an encounter billed for  Agege Stadium.
