Rufai Rate Vincent Enyeama High

Former Super Eagles ace goalkeeper, Peter Rufai, says the Eagles first choice goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, to put an excellent performance against the South American team.

Rufai, who recalled the FIFA USA 94 World Cup match against Argentina, said the South America squad captained by Diego Maradona, was one of the most difficult teams to play in the world because they have a particular manner at which they fun with ball which according to him is different from European style of football.

He said Enyeama who had been to the FIFA World Cup and have an outstanding records right from his playing days in the Israeli's league and in the French League  one, would not disappoint teeming Nigerian soccer fans who expect much from the goalkeeper who is well rated in the French League.

He observed that the lackluster performance of Austin Ejide, Super Eagles 
second choice goalkeeper, was because he did not have enough playing time with the team especially the defenders, adding that Ejide would rise to the occasion at the Brazil FIFA World Cup if the team's technical crew decided to bench Vincent Enyeama due to injury.

He pointed out the present squad of Super Eagles had the beat technical crew who according to him had played in the FIFA World Cup and had also featured in top flight football leagues in the world, stressing that Eagles head coach, Stephen Keshi and his assistants would impact positively on the team based on their technical depth of modern football techniques.
