As Nigeria’s Super Eagles play against United States of America in an international scheduled for tomorrow, Eagles ace defender, Elderson Echejile, has gone for scan on his thigh muscle on Thursday.
Echejile, who alongside Musa Ahmed trained on their own, had a knock in an international friendly against Greece.
Eagles medical doctor, Ibrahim Gyaran said it was important for Echejile to go for scan in order to know the extent of the injury.
Super Eagles arrived Jacksonville, Florida from its Philadelphia base on Wednesday evening as preparations continues for the World Cup, with a scheduled friendly against the United States on Saturday in Jacksonville.
The team is quartered at the exquisite Hyatt Hotel overlooking the city’s river and about 20 minutes drive from where the team had its first training session on Thursday morning; the Jacksonville United FC training pitch.
The session, which was hectic as usual saw Ahmed Musa and Elderson Echejile train on their own as they gradually recover from knocks they received in the friendly against Greece last Tuesday.
