UPDC Football Team Plays LETI In A Novelty Soccer Challenge.

Campos Mini Stadium, Lagos Island will on Thursday hold another Novelty Match as the Football Team of United Property Development Company (UPDC United) will lock horns with Team LETI comprising of officers of LASTMA, KAI and Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO) of the Lagos State Government.

The friendly football match is part of the ‘Play for Me Sports Challenge’ an aspect of the Community Outreach Programme introduced by the Lagos State Law Enforcement Training Institute in furtherance of the efforts of the State Government to stimulate seamless relationship between its law enforcement agents and the various communities where they serve with focal goal of improving voluntary compliance to traffic and environmental laws.

The TEAM LETI had last week played the NUJ Football Team in the football series at the Agege Mini Stadium in the Agege Area of Lagos State.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Transport Education, Dr. Mariam Masha said the football match which will see officers of the three agencies-LASTMA,KAI & VIO playing for Team LETI is a novel approach of using sports as a catalyst to actualize the goals of this outreach programme.

Dr. Masha added that as way of ensuring an interesting and rewarding sport event for the participants and the expected spectators, side attractions such as resident registration with LASRRA, renewal of vehicle License and other attractions will be on offer before the match which kicks off at 3pm.
