Victory Will Open Doors For Better Offer, Says Ajadi

Head Coach of Jesus College, Otukpo, Benue State, Isiaka Ajadi, says winning the 2014 edition of Milo secondary Schools Basketball Championship would open doors for him to attract better offers.

Ajadi, who is delighted for winning the competition, said the victory meant a lot to the Benue State Government that had showed tremendous support towards the growth of basketball especially at the school sports level.

The coach, who stresses that the feat was the first time in the history of Milo Secondary Schools

Basketball Championship that a school from the state would record a double victory in the boys and girls  categories, said the team's technical crew dived a solid strategy by operating from side, a move which paved the way for his squad victory.

He added that the team's technical crew would soon commence screening of new players whom he believe would be strong enough to win subsequent editions.

The chief coach of Henson Demonstration College, Edo State,attributed his team poor performance to lack of adequate preparations ahead of the final, stressing that his players could not cope with technical abilities of their opponents as they were tired after the first quarter.
