Aruna Quadri Defeat To Assar I il- Luck, Nosiru Bello.

Head coach of Nigeria Table Tennis Federation, NTTF, Nosiru Bello, has attributed Aruna Quadri defeat to Omar Asar of Egypt in the final of Men's Singles in the just concluded International Table Tennis, ITTF, World Tour, tagged Lagos Open to ill-luck.
Bello, said it was disheartening that Quadri who defeated Asar at the 2014 African Top16 Table Tennis Championship in Lagos and in the Team event in this year's AfricanTable Tennis competition in Cairo, Egypt, lost to the Egyptian ace ping-ponger because his priority was to make the nation proud.
The national coach, said Quadri's defeat would not significant impact on his ranking but encourage him to continue workingg hard to sustain his rating as the best ever African decorated ping-ponger by the International Table Tennis Fedreration, ITTF, adding that Quadri did not played to the gallery but did his best towin the Men's Singles.
Bello, explained that the Federation begin preparations for the All African Games in Congo-Brazaville with home based players, adding that NTTF have good facilities to enhance good preparation ahead of the Games.
He said Nigerian table tennis players need to be exposed to series of ITTF approved competitions not only to acquire points, but to also widen their horizons.
The coach, explained that the presence of Nigeria's sensational table tennis player, SegunToriola, would have boosted the morale of his players
based on his wealth of performance.
