Bridge FC Sent A.S Racines Packing Out Of Winners Goldebet/Lagos FA Cup.

The defending champion of Winners Goldenbet/Lagos FA Cup has crashed out of the competition after losing to Bridge FC in the knock-out phase of round of thirty- two.
A.S Racines, a team tipped to go far in the tournament, could not survive Monday's match against Bridge FC in a match played yesterday at the Agege Stadium, Agege as both teams displayed good football artistry to the admiration of soccer fans.
The Bridge FC took advantage of the spot- kicks to net four goals after missing a kick while A.S Racines managed to score three and missed two kicks to end the match, 4- 3, in favor of Bridge FC.
In other matches played on Monday at the Agege Stadium, Christ Ambassador FC defeated My People FC,7- 6, through spot- kicks after the match ended two goals apiece
Future Stars qualified for the round of 16 after beating LSDPC by 2- 1.
Meanwhile, 36 Lion Football Club has justified itself as a good football team in the ongoing Winners Goldenbet/Lagos FA Cup by recording the highest goals so far in the tournament which started with Rooky Teams of which eight team qualified for the round of 32 that started on Sunday.
The club's Director, Liameed Gafar, said the team technical crew would work on the team's defense which was a bit poorius in their knock-out match against Anointed Stars in the round of 32 in order to achieve good result at the tournament.
Gafar, whose target is for the club to reach the final and lift the tournament's trophy having qualified for final once, said Stanley Okorom, who play for Nigeria's Olympic team was invited for the match coupled with other players so as to qualify for the round of 16.
According to him, target of the club which is now fifteen years old, is to have between two and three players in each of the national teams by 2022.
The team which have some its players in the Nigeria's Olympic team, started her campaign in the competition on a bright note by whipping Annointed Stars by 6- 0 goals to scale through to the round of 16.
Lawal Yususf, who is one of the tournament's uture stars scored a brace while Jimoh Otto, who was adjudged the match Most Valuable Player, also scored a brace just as duo of Ajayi Oluwafemi and Godfrey Chinedu scored a goal each to seal the
aspirations of Annointed Stars.
As the competition round of 32 enters day 3, a total of eight Most Valuable Players have been honoured with cash prize of ten thousand naira each (=N=10,000.00)
The latest awardees are Nosiru Kabiru of Bridge FC, Aguda Godwin of Christ Ambassador FC, Afolabi Michael of Future Stars and Jimoh Otto of 36 Lion FC.
In today's fixtures, two matches have scheduled for today (Tuesday) which will make it ten matches played in the round of 32, will see Hard Stars slugging it out with Fame FC, in the first match while Amazing Grace will take on Moonluck FC in the second match
So far, in the round of 32, a total of 53 goals have been scored with 36 Lion scoring the highest goals.
