Fegor Ogude’s Wife Regains Freedom

Kidnapped wife of Super Eagles midfielder Fegor Ogude, Maimunat was in the late hours of yesterday on Sunday released by her abductors in Warri, Delta State.

Speaking on behalf of his family, the traumatized Fegor said he was grateful to God almighty for the release of his wife without any injury, but most importantly he wants to single out the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation, the Nigerian media and all Nigerians who stood by his family in their trying times, saying only God will reward them all. 

 

"For now I am still speechless, trying to recover from the trauma my family went through, but thank God we now have her in our custody, safe and sound, I just want to get off the public glare so that my wife can overcome the sad experience"

"For me and my family we want to thank the leadership of the NFF led by the president Amaju Pinnick who aside calling us, assisted in his private capacity, we also want to thank the Nigeria media for all what they did for me, not forgetting the Nigerian nation for all their moral and spiritual support"

Maimunat Ogude was kidnapped in the late hours of last week Monday while about entering their house at Okuorkorkor in Okpe LGA of Delta State.
