As part of preparations for the upcoming trip to Dubai to participate in this year's edition of Dubai International Super Cup, Buruj Sports Academy will engage 36 Lions in a friendly game on Tuesday.
According to the release, the match which will hold on the Legacy Pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, at exactly 10.00 am prompt, will be used to test the match readiness of some of the players that will feature in the tournament which is first of its kind in that part of the world.
The tournament which commenced in 2011 will hold under the prying eyes
of some international football scouts and it is a unique avenue for all
the players that will be paraded to showcase their potential and talent
and play their way to stardom.
The Dubai International Super Cup, according to the organisers, Team Tours Direct based in the United Kingdom, promises to be a spectacle of footballing excellence by youths from all corners of the world as well as a time to take them on excursion of the rich cultural and infrastructural advancement of the host city and country.
Meanwhile, 10 players have already been pencilled down while the remaining four are expected to be selected in the next and final batch of the screening.
