Odey, Olatunbosun Thank Genot Rohr

The duo of Stephen Odey and Sikiru Olatunbosun of Mountain of Fire and Miracles FC, have both expressed joy at the invitation to be part of the Super Eag;les players for an international friendly against Corsia in France.

Leading scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League with fourteen goals Odey, and Olatunbosun were among the four Nigeria's domestic league players invited for the friendly against Corsica.

Odey, who claim that he will work hard to make the team, said he was delighted that Genot Rohr deemed it fit to invite him for the friendly, stressing that he would not be scared of the quality of Nigeria's ptrofessional players invited for the match.

While Olatunbosun,  said he work continue to work hard to justify his inclussion in the list of players invited for the friendly.

FC Ifeanyiubah goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Akwa United's Alhassan Ibrahim  are the other players from the NPFL that made the cut.

In another development, the current highest goal scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL and Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries FC, top striker, Stephen Odey, has tendered an unreserved apology to the club's management after his botched move to Denmark.

Odey, who has just been handed an invitation to the Super Eagles of Nigeria returned to his team last weekend after the controversial trip to Danish club FC Midtjylland.

The prolific striker, said he would remain focused since many things had happened in the past as he apologised for everything that has happened.

To continue scoring goals in the NPFL and to command regular shirt, Odey, said he needed to play according his coaches instruction.

Odey and his strike partner, Olatunbosun Sikiru, are among the 25 players invited by Genor Rohr invited to the Super Eagles squad for the friendly game against Corsica scheduled to hold on May 26.
