African Has Potentials To Become World's Best In Armwrestling, Says Charles Osei-Asibey

Ghana Armwrestling Federation GAF,  says Africa will produce world class athletes who could be rated among the best in the world if the sport is adequately financed.

Its President, Charles Osei-Asibey, who noted Africa is well blessed with physically and fit athletes who could compete with the best armwrestlers in the world, said the athletes needed exposure to seminars, workshops in order to have mastery of Armwrestling techniques.

Osei-Asibey, who is optimistic that that an African armwrestler, would in the enxt five years become a world champion, said the continental body, African Armwrestling Federation, AAF, should continue working hard to make the sport popular and acceptable in other African countries.

Osei-Asibey said GAF would use the next edition of the championship to be staged in Ghana in twenty- eighteen to develop and spread the sport in Ghana.
