NWFL sets deadline for indication of interest for clubs in the lower league ; Licensing deadline remains sacrosanct for premiership.
 

The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has announced Monday the 16th and Wednesday the 18th of November 2020 as deadline for clubs to signify their interest to participate in the Nationwide and Championship respectively.

The league body also sent a reminder to clubs in the Premiership to submit their licensing documents for the upcoming 2020/2021 Premiership season before Friday, November, 20th, 2020.

The documents include, proof of no debts carried over, financial guarantee, CAC documents and medical reports of all players registered.
 

The league's Chief Operating Officer, Faith Ben-Anuge, the deadline date set for Nationwide and Championship clubs for the 2020/2021 season would not be extended.

The 2021 NWFL season will kick off on Wednesday, December, 9th, 2020 across all centres in the country.

 Meanwhile a date will soon be announced for the commencement of the Nationwide and Championship .
