Nigeria's international, Ayomide Marcus, who plays for CD Fierense, has been voted the best player in the Portuguese Liga 2 by the coaches of teams playing in the league.
Since the turn of the new year, Marcus scintillating performance saw him scoring 3 goals and providing one assist in 4 games.
The
21-year-old received 15.00% of the votes, the same percentage as
Mohammed Bouldini, from A. Académica, and the tiebreaker was made
through the playing time played during the period in question.
Marcus
played 278 minutes, while Mohammed counted 326 minutes on the pitch, so
the distinction was awarded to the campfire athlete.
The podium is complete with Crespo, midfielder from Estoril Praia, with 12.00%
Ayomide
Marcus has scored a total of 7 goals with an assist to his name from 12
games this season, making him the most effective forward so far in the
