
Former Super Eagles winger, Emmanuel Amuneke, has attributted the team's ouster in the second round of the USA 94 FIFA World Cup to inexperience and lack of focus.
The former coach of Julius Berger F.C, told sportsweigh.blogspot.com that the Super Eagles went to the tournamnet as African Champion with good and skillful football players but they were not matured enough to contend with the world's best at the soccer mundial.
Amuneke, said they were novice as at the time they went to the World Cup as they were in good frame of mind to beat Italy but lack of concentration robbed them the chance to scale through the second round, adding that the Italian side were fortified with the world's best football players in the mould of Baggio among others.
On the Super Eagles preparation for the South Africa FIFA World Cup, Amuneke, said the team's preparation was essential to their success as it would create team work and encourage them to be dedicated to make Nigeria proud.
According to him, the Super Eagles must not loss focus during the duration of any match and must be determined to excel irrespective of their challenges.
