The Nigeria Football Federation,NFF, has expressed satisfaction with the thirty man list Super Eagles technical adviser, Lars Lagerback, released recently ahead of the World Cup in South Africa.
Its President, Sanni Lulu, said prior to the release of the list to the public, the Swede soccer tactician had the opportunity to watch the players live at their various clubsides and the move helped him to have a detailed information of the players after he failed to assemble them in the last three weeks.
He said the Federation through its technical department confirmed that the process which Lagerback embarked upon to select the players was the best after considering other options.
He said NFF has unveiled its programme for the socer fiesta and they would strictly abide by the programme as they would also support Lagerback endorsed programme in a bid to get the best result at the event.
According to him, the issue of inadequate preparation for the World Cup was a general phenomenon as it affects other qualified teams, stressing that most of the players expected to feature in the tournamnet are still being engaged with their clubs assignments.
He said the Super Eagles would start its build up to the competition next Thursday as they would travel to England where they would play couple of friendlies against Saudi Arabia, Colombia and North Korea.
