Mikel to hit camp Today, Apam in training

Midfielder John Mikel Obi is set to join his mates in the Nigerian World Cup camp today after the last of his rehabilitation exercises in London.

The effervescent playmaker was injured in a Premier League game in April and has been recovering from that injury ever since.

Israeli –based goalkeeper Bamidele Aiyenugba joined his team –mates in Wattens, Austria just before kick –off of the international friendly against Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.

Super Eagles defender Onyekachi Apam trained with the team for the first time yesterday evening as Coach Lars Lagerback took another look at his squad following Tuesday night’s unimpressive barren draw with Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, arrangements for Sunday’s clash with Colombia have been concluded and the match will definitely take place at the Milton Keynes Stadium, one of the 15 stadia listed by England to host the 2018 World Cup finals should their bid be successful.

Also, the Nigeria Football Federation and its Colombian counterpart have jointly decided to report the match agent, Pro –Global Sports to world football –governing body, FIFA for behaving irresponsibly.
