Grace Polytechnic and Lagos City Polytechnic have pulled out of the second edition of the Lagos Inter-Tertiary Games slated for next Thursday.
Despite the institutions withdrawal, Sixteen Institutions of Higher Learning have confirmed particiaption at the close of entries last Friday in the second edition of the Games .
Among the institutions that had registered are University of Lagos , Lagos State University, Lagos State Polytechnic,Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Oto-Ijanikin, Yaba College of Technology, Federal College of Education Technical, Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Caleb University, Wolex Polytechnic, Ansar-Ud-Deen College of Education and Nigerian Institute of Journalism.
According to the Chairman, Technical Committee of the Games, Ewa Henshaw, the contingent strength at the games have been restricted to a maximum of One hundred and fourteen percent.
Meanwhile, University of Lagos would host Football, Table-Tennis,Basketball and Volleyball events, while Yaba College of Technology would also host Volleyball, Football and Basketball at their campus.
Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology with the hosting of Beach Soccer, Beach Volley as Lagos State University LASU and the Legacy Pitch at National Stadium host Football matches.
