The Lagos State Pool Association,LASPA, will be making its entrants as a competitive sport into the sporting association of vibrant Lagos State Sports Council.
This will be thesecond association within the last three monthst that will be admitted into the fold of Lagos State Sports Council.
Pool is a cue sport which entails using sticks called cues to pocket balls of different colour into six holes on the sides and corners of a rectangle table.
According to its Chairman, Olushola Mogaji, the vision of the sport is to use the game to inspire young and adults into various important roles in schools, communities andthe nation.
Mogaji,said te Association's proposed Pool academy scheduled for 2012 would create employment opportunity for the unemployed and redeem the hope of Nnigerian youths.
