The National Sports Commission has advised the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Association to convey its congress on or before the tenth of August.
Sportsweight.blogspot reports that the Commission made this statement yesterday after a crucial meeting with the States Sports Commissioners in Abuja.
In a communique issued yesterday and made available to Arena Sports, stated that the congress is to review the 2010 NFA Statutes in line with FIFA's to accomodate and conduct States F.A election before the national election into the NFA board.
The Sports Minister, Ibrahin Isa Bio, said theNFA Executive Member should create a room for regular interaction between the NFA and States Sports Ministries ina bid to develop sports at the grassroot level.
Bio, commended the efforts of the States sports Commisioners for the efforts towards the next National Sports Festival in Rivers Staes in November, 2010.
