NOC Election To Hold In September

Peace has virtualy returned to the family of Nigeria Olympic Commission as the body has been able to resolve all the lingering problems affectig it from conducting an election.

The Commision's Media Officer, Tony Neziany, told sportsweight.blogspot.com after the Commission's crucial meeting that all the aggrieved candidates would take part in the election fixed for sixteenth of September, 210, in Lagos State.

Nezianya's statement truly reflected in the comments made by numerous Sports Associations Presidents who were happy that peace has returned to the Commission, a move according to many believed would aid the develoment of sports in Nigeria.

The former Minister of Sports, Sanni Ndanusa, who was initially disqualified from vying for any positionin the commission, said the meeting was a family reunion where serious issues affecting the Commission were discussed and all the aggerieved candidates were happy after the meeting.

The President of Nigeria Handball Federation,Yusuf Gabar said the meeting was a huge success as all the Commission were happy over the development which according to him would bring elevate the standard of sports in NIgeria.
