The President General of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Rauf Ladipo, has called on the Nigeria Football Federation to immortalise Olubayo Adefemi who died on Monday in a car accident in Greece.
Ladipo who described the deceased Super Eagles defender as a humble and dedicated football player, said the football player had played in Nigeria's under 20 and under 23 teams and he had also featured for Nigeriain many FIFA sanctioned football championships, thus making him an outstanding football player.
He said the death of Olubayo Adefemi would motivate the NFF to beam its search light on how best to assist Nigerian former Internationals as well as the deceased Super Eagles players in order to attract many talented football players to play for their fatherland.
While describing Olubayo's death as a rude shock, the club's President General, said the Xanthi Skoda player has matured to command a regular shirt in the Super Eagles under Samson Siasia.
