Sports Administrators Endorse Fashola.

Sports Community in Lagos State has endorsed Governor Babatunde Raji Fasola for second term as the state governor as plans are in top gear to hold rally on Thursday.

The Sports community, spear headed by teams participating in the MTN Lagos Street Soccer held at a meeting on Monday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium with the commissioner for Sports Prince Ademola Adeniji Adele with the believe that the governor deserve a second term in office following his tremendous development on sports development.

At the meeting, Prince Edoh of Planners Football Club Amuwo Odofin who moved the motion for the endorsement and Jamiu Alafia of Agbado Ijaye Oke Odo opined that for sports to continue to enjoy pride of place in Lagos, BRF must be re-elected as they urged Lagosians and sportsmen and women to cast their vote for the governor.

''we noted with delight that the most successful governor in Nigeria has is a footballer and through his sports initiatives has promoted many sports programmes at grassroot and has kept many youths off the street and away from social vices as well as empowering them,,'said the commissioner.

A rally has however been fixed for Thursday at Sir Molade Okoya Thomas by Lagos Sports Community to publicly endorse BRF for second term as Lagos State Governor.
