Lagos Tops National Under 13 Table Tennis Tourney.

Lagos State has emerged the champion of the just concluded National Under 13 team event in the boys category in the ongoing National Under 13, 16, 20 and Club Championship at the knowck - up hall of the National Stadium, Surulere.

The Lagos team which comprises of mustapha Bello, Qudus Summer defeated the duo of Ibrahim Umoru and Idrisu Zakeri of Kogi State by three staright set.

Bello, outplayed Umoru in the first game of the team event by 11 - 8, 22 - 9, as Qudus Summer sustained the tempo as he beat Idrisu Zakeri, 11 - 5, 11 - 7, while Bello wrap up the game when h stamped his superiority over Umoru in the game that ended 11 - 6, 11 - 6.

In the Under 16 Girls, ERkiti State beat the Lagos team by two straight set.

The duo of Tosin Oribamise and Blessing Eniola of Ekiti State defeated Alimot Ayinla and Nimota Aregbesola of Lagos State.
