Union Bank Set To Win Club Championship.

The Coach of Union Bank Table Tennis Club, Samson Kolawole Ajayi, has expressed optimism that his team would retain the club champioship trophy in the ongoing National Table Tennis Competition in Lagos.

Ajayi, said the club's management has fortified the team with required table tennis kits to spur the ping pongers to victory, adding that the table tennis players have been in camp since January, 20111, in readiness for any major tournament.

The table tennis coach, said wining this year's chairman's Cup in the Men's Singles event was an indication that thy are in competiton mood to record a remarkable feat.

He said the club's priority was reprsented Nigeria at he African Club Championship in Tnisia in July, 2011, adding that he has resolved to surpass the African Club Championship records after picking a silver ware at the event.

The Union Bank team comprises ofJide Ogidiolu, Kazeem Makanjuola, Shola Oyetayo, Ashimiyu Ganiyu,Sharafa Adeleke and Sunday Odunlade in the male cadre as Rasheedat Ogundele, Sidikat Yaya, Bello Fatimoh and Fashola Aminat were included in the female list.
