All preparations have been completed to host August dition of the Chess Heights Monthly tournamnet.
The tourney will hold this Saturday at the University of Lagos, Sports Centre.
The event is open to all members of the general public as last month's edition had a surprise winner in the person of Daniel Korede.
Korede had a relative low rating from the tournamnet serie sbut defeated many big chess players with bigger reputations.
Top players expected to be there include Toyin Jegede, Olaoniekun Agusto, OLuwole Oladele and Chike Aniunoh.
The tournament is sponsored by the Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government, Honourable Wasiu Sanni Eshinlokun.
