Union Bank Table Tennis Team Beat Morocco, Tunisia.

Nigeria's representative in the ongoing African Club Championship in Morocco,Union Bank Table Tennis Club, has secured six points after beating Morocco and Tunisia in their group games to book a date with Congo Brazaville in today's fixtures.

The Club's Coach, Samson Kolawole Ajayi, who confirmed the report while speaking with Sportsweight.blogspot.com, said his team beat Morocco by three set one as similar feat was recorded against Tunisia as the team would today book a date with Congo Brazaville and Egpyt.

According to him, the team which comprises of Ganiyu Ashimiyu, Shola Oyetayo, Jide Ogidiolu among others are in good frame of mind to make Nigeria proud at the championship, stressing that a win against Congo Brazaville would earn them a semi final ticket.

Ajayi, said his ping pongers had acquinted themselves with the quality of table tennis materials being provided for the tourney, adding that the club had motivated the players with good incentives to excel, stressing the Moroccocans and Tunisian players are very hard to beat but his players were in control of the games
