
The Nigeria Premier League will on Monday sign a sponsorship agreement with PZ Cussons Nigeria PLC making its ‘Robb’ brand the official balm of the NPL.
Managing Director of Family Care SBU of PZ Cussons Nigeria, Alex Goma, said football was unifying force in Nigeria and theie zeal to partner NPL was as a rsult of the real steps being taken to improve football in Nigeria and they are proud to play an active role in its future development.
“Football is a unifying force in Nigeria. Wherever you see people playing football you see passion and a love for the game,” said Mr Alex Goma, Managing Director of Family Care SBU (PZ Cussons Nigeria). “We are starting to see real steps being taken to improve football in Nigeria and we are proud to play an active role in its future development,” Mr Goma commented.
Goma, said the sponsorship agreement will feature ‘Robb’, a key drive brand of PZ Cussons Nigeria, adding that Robb has provided the best relief from aches and pains for almost 50 years.

The Marketing Manager - Robb, PZ Cussons Nigeria, Mark Knower, said the sponsorship arrangement with the NPL allows the Robb brand to extend its relief to all Nigerians through pure enjoyment and development of the game,stressing that the company had exciting plans ahead for the brand .

Acting Chairman of the NPL, Shehu Gusau, said NPL needed to continue to work closely with the clubs so as to improve the game,stressing that the gesture would attract corporate bodies to support Nigerian football.
