
Super Falcons attacking midfielder, Ebere Orji, has said that playing in the Olympics Games will be another dream come true for her.
Orji was part of the team that played at the just concluded FIFA Women’s World Cup in Germany.
“Our loss in Ghana means that we will not participate in the forth coming All Africa Games,that will not repeat itself for the Olympics. After not qualifying for the All Africa Games I can not imagine us missing out for the Olympics. Cameroon can not stop us”
“Asides from All Africa Games which we did not qualify for Olympics, is the other championship I have not attended and so we will make sure we pick that ticket to be at next year’s Olympics”
The midfielder, said their counterpart from Cameroon would deprieve them from qualifying for the Olympic Games having failed to secure a ticket for the All African Games,stressing that the team would work hard to pick the Olympic Games slot because it is very important to feature in the Games.
She was there at Under 17( New Zealand 2008), Under 20(Chile 2008),Under 20(Germany 2010), Africa Women’s championship(South Africa 2010) and FIFA Women’s World Cup(Germany 2011).
Ebere is one among the few Super Falcons players who had represented Nigeria in all the age category.
Meanwhile, Falcons will engage the National Under 15 boys team today in a friendly at the training pitch of the National stadium.
