After shoving off a 09-17 points lose to First Deepwater basketball club of Nigeria in the first quarter Kenya Ports Authority ralled back to take the second quarter by 20-14 points for a half-time scores of 29-30 point.

But that was all the Kenyan could do as they lost the remaing quarters to the Nigerian champion by 11-28 and 10-19 points to go down by 50-78 points thus ending its ambition of seeking her first semi-final ticket of the biggest women club competition in Africa.

First Deepwater and Nigeria league most valuable player Nkechi Akashili led the floor with 27 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists while Sarah Ogoke had a double double of 13 rebounds, 11 points, 4 steal and 2 assists.

First Deepwater will confront fellow Nigerian First Bank in the second semi-final at 18H00.
