Interclube Beat First Bank 67-62, Draw Maculosso In Semi

Defending champion of the Africa Champions Club for Women Interclube basketball club of Angola Thursday handed down a 67-62 point’s defeat of two-time champion Nigeria First Bank basketball club.

The Angolan took the first two quarters by 20-12, 17-13 for half-time scores of 37-25 but gave up the third and fourth quarters to the Nigerian by 15-20, 15-17 for a final scores of 67-62 to lead others going into the semis.

Interclube who will now take on fellow Angolan Maculosso was led by Danielle Green with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steal while Tierra Henderson added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists for the victory over the Elephant Girls of Nigeria.
