Pillars Disown Gambo Over Eagles Snub

The Kano Pillars management, has openly declared that it has no hand and can’t explain why one of its players Gambo Mohammed has not reported to the national camp one week after he was released for national assignment.

Pillars Spokesman, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa, told the Super Eagles media team on phone from Kano , that he was at a loss over why the player has not resumed in the national team’s camp, as he was also not in the camp of the Pillars’side.

On the second player, Musa Musa, Mlikawa said he was not too sure whether a formal letter was written but that the team’s management will quickly work on the matter to ensure that if such a request was made the player is released immediately.

Eagles officials, have already said they were not too keen on players who will not respond promptly to national team call up as they may prove disciplinary worries whenever they come to camp.
