Former Green Eagles and Shooting Star football player, Ademola Adeshina has extended hands of fellowship to teammate Stephen Keshi for his efforts in exposing the home based players to the Eagles.
Adeshina, was the one sighted yesterday at the Eagles training session at the FIFA Goal Project, said he was convinced that there are still plenty of talents in the Nigerian league waiting to be harnessed but the players are always in hurry to seek greener pastures in Europe and beyond.
He was the one sighted at Wednesday morning training session of the Super Eagles at the FIFA Goal Project and in all his humility and candour, he was still passionate about Nigerian football, especially that of the national team.
The former Shooting Star ace player recalled that after playing in the Nigerian league for several years, himself, Yisa Sofoluwe, Humphrey Edobor and late Uche Okafor, decided to journey to Belgium to join Keshi and they were all instant successes.
He poured encomiums on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), for having the vision to restart the discovery of the national team from the local players. He also had sweet words for the Stephen Keshi led technical crew for taking the risk in accepting to groom the home grown talents.
