Ahead of the February 29 Nations Cup qualifier against the Amavuvbi of Rwanda in Kigali, the country’s capital, Super Eagles boss, Stephen Keshi, has told national team players to forget the win in Liberia last Wednesday and focus on the upcoming encounter.
“The game in Liberia is now history but we have a more important game ahead and despite the praises that all of you have been receiving, I think we should put that behind us and move on to the bigger picture. Let’s now focus on a win in Kigali and the respect will keep pouring in”.
Keshi, said he was totally impressed by the performance of his players in the Monrovia , but says that the game was now in the past and there should be a rededication to the future from the players.
All the 20 home-based players safe for Sunday Emmanuel who sought for permission to leave camp were in Abuja on Friday afternoon preparatory for the encounter against Rwanda in less than two weeks time.
