The Nigeria Football Federation has lauded the Cross Rivers State government for agreeing to host a one-month camping programme of the
Golden Eaglets.
Sports-loving Governor Liyel Imoke has approved an all-expenses-paid camping for the three-time world champions, which begins in Calabar on
Sunday.
NFF President, Aminu Maigari said the Federation was very grateful to Governor Imoke, his administration and the good people of Cross River State for this wonderful gesture, adding that the Super Eagles had played three big matches in Calabar during his tenure..
The Eaglets is in the second phase of its camping programme as Head Coach Manu Garba and his crew go through the process of building a new team for the 2013 African Unde 17 Championship qualifying series, which begin in September with a clash against Niger.
