Beninoise Refs To Take Charge Of Falcons, Banyana Match

Referees from Nigeria’s neighbours to the west, Republic of Benin, will take charge of Saturday’s prestigeous international friendly match between the Super Falcons of Nigeria and South Africa’s Banyana
Banyana.

NFF officials confirmed on Thursday that Rafiatou Sitou will be the Centre Referee for the high-profile encounter between the reigning champions of Africa and the continent’s flag-bearers at next month’s
Olympic Games in London.

Fellow Beninoise Timpa Rosalie Nda will be Assistant Referee 1 and Noussirath Salifou will be Assistant Referee 2. Nigerian Uloma Ngwogu will be the Reserve Referee.

Both teams ended it 1-1 in the first of the two-leg friendly arrangement which took place on June 3 at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg – one the venues for the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals.
