Bunmi Olape Confident Of Victory.

Nigeria's International Chess player, Bunmi Olape, has described the annual Nigerian Breweries International Open Chess Championship as a foundation which has helped Nigerian chess players to attain greater height in the sport.

Olape, who made this statement while speaking with Sportsweight.blogspot.com, said he was not afraid of competing with top African Chess players as well as Nigerian foreign chess players, stressing that he is vast experience in the sport would pave the way for him to win the tourney.

The chess player who recently won the just concluded African zonal Chess Championship, said he increase in the prize money which would attract many experienced players would serve as an advantage for the home based chess players to acquire skills and also learn modern techniques to move to the next level.

The current Gold medalist at the All African Games, said the competition would help him to prepare ahead of the Chess World Cup in Norway, in 2013 adding that he would not relent in his efforts to become a Grand Master.
