MTN Lagos Street Soccer: Referees, Match Commissioners Seminar Holds

To acquaint referees and match commissioners with the rules guiding the game, the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the season five of the yearly MTN Lagos Street Soccer is organising a two-day seminars at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.

The seminar will commence with the referees on Thursday while match commissioners will have theirs on Friday.

According to the head of referee of the LOC, Bashiru Kosoko, the seminar is meant to update the knowledge of the officials while it would serve as a platform for empowerment of youths who are willing to take to
officiating, adding that as part of the empowerment objective of the MTN Lagos Street Soccer, students within age 15 to 22 are also encouraged to be part of the seminar..

Kosoko further said that the officials would also be assessed with the successful ones expected to handle proceedings this season.

Meanwhile, the deadline for teams' registration has been fixed for June 29, while all teams are also expected to return their forms to the secretariat of the LOC
