The duo of home based Super Eagles, Gabriel Reuben and Godfrey Oboabona, have said they were more than prepared for the Liberian test in Monrovia.
Kano Pillars midfielder, Reuben who scored a beauty goal against Plateau United on Monday at the Agege Stadium in Lagos, said he was super fit and ready for any assignment given to him by national team boss, Stephen Keshi.
“As you can see I’m ready and very fit and anytime we get to camp, I will prove my mettle in training and in match situation”, the lanky midfielder who has been likened to France legend Patrick Vieira by NFF Technical Committee Chairman, Christopher Green declared.
On his part, Oboabona, who skippered Sunshine Stars to an impressive goalless draw against Tunisian side Etoile Du Sahel, in Souze said Eagles assignments had made him a better player and he will again prove it in the game against Liberia in Monrovia.
“No, we have not and will never underrate any team in the qualifiers, but we know that we are better in all departments than Liberia and we will prove it in both legs of the qualifier”, he said.
