Deputy Head of Mission at the Nigeria Embassy in Korea, Saidu Ahmed gave the warning when he paid the team a courtesy visit at its Namhae Sports Park Hotel on Sunday morning.
He was accompanied by the Head of Chancery, John Anthony Ebipador. His advice came after Church service which held at the the ball room of the Hotel.
Team Secretary, Faith Ben-Anuge (Mrs.) delivered the sermon which focused on unity with Genesis 11, the scriptural text. "When you get on the field, you must strive not to be angry with your opponents.
Do not allow forces around control your emotions," he said. "You can imagine what is to be picked out of 167million Nigerians to represent your fatherland, but guiding against anger with teamwork will help you achieve your results," he added.
Ahmed who resumed official duties on June 28 expressed delight in meeting with the team. "I would like to say a big thank you for receiving me in your midst.
It is an occasion that l would always cherish. He charged the team to win the trophy after claiming the silver at the last edition two years ago.
