Falconets Served Eba, Ogbono Soup in Japan

Players and Officials of the Nigeria's Falconets presently in Japan for the FIFA Under 20 Women's World Cup were on Thursday served Nigerian meal for dinner.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) had arranged with the Embassy in Tokyo, for the provision of local meals.

The welcome package saw the team being treated to Eba and Ogbono soup with several assorted beef prepared in the Nigeria way as the occasion coincided with the birthday celebrations of those born in the month of August.

Physiotherapist, Victoria Maduagwu, defender, Chidinma Okoro and Co-ordinator, Andrew Abah were presented with a surprise cake by Team Secretary and Leader of delegation, Faith Ben-Anuge (Mrs.)

Meanwhile the team had its first training session yesterday at the lush green Saitama Stadium which is a 45-minute drive from its Royal Pines Hotel.
